On a way to harmony
Stará Boleslav, which forms a municipal unit with Brandýs nad Labem today, is one of our most important pilgrimage sites.
Pilgrims first headed for this place to get spiritual experiences in connection with St. Wenceslas Day. In the second half of the 17th century, the Jesuit order built a new Holy Trail, Via Sancta, consecrated to Virgin Mary, in place of the existing provincial path leading from Prague to Boleslav. This Marian trail was lined with a total of 44 decorated chapels, 13 of which have been preserved to this day.
The trail passes in the close vicinity of the Na Mariánské cestě residential area and you can see one of the chapels, the so-called Strašenská Chapel, from the window of your future flat. The names of the donators who financed the erection of the individual chapels will also help you to find your bearings better among the buildings in the area.
An oasis of greenery on the outskirts of the town
A lot of greenery and water surface areas in the heart of the premises create an agreeable place with its own microclimate in Na Mariánské cestě Residence. This is supported by the green roofs of all the houses.
